Dr. Griffith's Exam Style

Most exams are designed for students to finish or answer accurately, but not BOTH at the same time.
10% of Dr. Griffith's curriculum are organic chemistry reactions and naming - this is not as in-depth as regular orgo. However, this extra material catches students by surprise since it involves different applied thinking. A tutor like myself, who's mastered both gen chem and orgo, is best suited to help you navigate the peculiarities of CHEM 131 and CHEM 135.
In the 7 years I've been tutoring her CHEM 135 and 271 classes, Dr. Griffith has created all of her own questions, but occasionally repeats a problem verbatim on her future exams.
Dr. Griffith's exams are difficult, but not impossible and require more conceptual understanding and memorization than other professors. Her Isotope Ratio and Diprotic Acid Base problems tend to be most challenging for students.
