As a tutor, I've worked with dozens of struggling students who jumped 2 letter grades on the next exam after a 'push' in the right direction, catered resources, and regular 1-on-1 tutoring sessions.
10% of Dr. Griffith's curriculum are organic chemistry reactions and naming - this is not as in-depth as regular orgo. However, this extra material catches students by surprise since it involves different applied thinking. A tutor like myself, who's mastered both gen chem and orgo, is best suited to help you navigate the peculiarities of CHEM 131 and CHEM 135.
